Why Sigma is the best! Review

I ❤ Sigma Brushes! I own a couple of them & always thought they were great. My all time favorite is their Flat Top Kabuki Brush. BUT (of course there has to be a but) they do not last you long time. Or should I say, mine didn’t last that long?

Here’s the thing:

I bought my 1st F80 over 3 years ago. Loved it to death! But after 6 months, it completely started falling apart. You should know that I treat my brushes all equally 😇 My other Sigma’s were doing just fine as all of my other brushes were too.

I was so sad that 1 year later I bought a new one. Maybe something was wrong with my 1st one?

I have to say, when my 2nd one arrived, I immediately compared it to the 1st one & they didn’t look the same at all. Maybe just a change throughout the years in logo, letter type,… Pretty possible 🙂 I then also gifted one to my lil sis (which is still going strong!)…

6 months later, same story. ALL of the bristles fell out 😔 (picture shown is before it completely fell apart. the bristles-less picture got lost 😕).

I twice brought this story to my Instagram & guess what?!?

Sigma contacted me last month (yep, after all these years) because they were curious if I ever send an e-mail to their customer service to get this cleared out. I did not…

They immediately offered me to send me a new one! 😱 Euh, hello!!! Pretty awesome if you ask me!!!

10 days later (makes me think of that horror movie ☺) I got mail!

A glorious new brush! Reunited with its family! Welcome…

All of my brushes are still going strong but just to make sure, I’m changing my cleaning routine.

More about that in a later post!

Did any of you had the same problem? Let me know in the comments below!

P.S.: Sigma, if you are reading this, thank you so much!!! Great brushes, great service!

  1. Hey 🙂

Oh gosh, I wish we had Sigma here! I mean, everyone praises their brushes and they seem so incredible!
That is also great, that Sigma sent you a new one! Customer service – level expert!

    Wonderful post! 🙂

    Great photos as well!

    Have a nice day. 🙂

    1. Hi Dora! There are multiple online shops who sell them! And I guess Sigma also ships world wide. If not, there are many great brushes out there in beauty land 😉 Zoeva is also amazing! Real techniques are great as well & I can’t wait to try out some Morphe Brushes! & I am truly excited about the Artis Make-Up Brushes! They look so beautiful & seem so soft ^_^

  2. I love Sigma brushes too! I bought the F80 but stupidly “deep cleaned” it by leaving it to soak in hot soapy water in the sink – blonde moment! So it started to shed. I’ve given it a haircut and it’s fine again now but you can tell how well it’s made because other brushes i’ve had just snapped because the glue couldn’t hold them together anymore! Great post 🙂
