In august I discovered the brand new beauty department from H&M. I was very excited & was dying to try out some of their products since I’m a huge H&M fan!
I immediately bought 2 lip products. A lip stain & a liquid lipstick.
Since the beginning of September, they are also available in store. But be aware! Not all H&M stores have a beauty department! Check online first because only the big shops sell them…

Smooth when still wet.
Sticky once dry.
Twisting plastic tube with a sponge applicator. My favorite.
The perfect application for me is when you do not need to dip your brush/sponge back into the tube because you then sometimes have too much product which can make it messy to apply. In this case I had to dip the sponge twice which I didn’t like. Also, the sponge ain’t easy to work with. I am used to sponge applicators on an almost daily basis but this one ain’t my favorite applicator! It was hard to apply the stain precisely. The stain was also difficult to apply evenly. It looks blotchy. Especially in the middle because there’s more stain applied there because of the great sponge applicator (sarcasm people, sarcasm!). And since it is a little sticky, it mostly get blotchy where your lips touch.
* LONG WEAR
I had 1(!) glass of water & it already started to fade. So I didn’t bother to keep it on & check if it would stay all day because I immediately noticed that after 1 hour I would probably look like a clown. So once I ate my lunch, I tried to reapply it but that wasn’t an option! Not good looking at all (no pictures because of the IPhone that hadn’t any space left at all…). I decided to just remove it & apply another lipstick because the stain was visible & not so appealing to greet customers in store 😉
I reapplied at home just to take some pictures to prove that it is “a stain”. As you can see below, I removed the stain and my lips have a subtle pink shine. After half an hour (I went for a run) you can see that the middle part of my lips have its natural color back, the outside looks lined with a pencil & blended. Which of course ain’t the case. It’s the stain…
Easy to remove. I removed it with some micellair water.
Not long lasting at all
You can’t even apply & remove for a subtle stained effect since it fades away in an ugly way!
I send mine back which says enough…
Did you buy this H&M stain & did you liked it? Let me know!
PS: all pictures are taking in day light without flash.
